Troubleshooting

This page is for resolving technical issues that have been commonly asked in our courses in Udemy:

Can I download the videos?
I finished the course but I still don’t receive the Udemy certificate
Udemy says that I have not completed all the items, but I finished the course
I clicked “Restart Progress” and I lost my completed items.
I want the paid virtual certificate from the Universidad Diego Portales
I would like to add some info to the certificate (course hours, my identification number, etc.)

Can I download the videos?

Yes, Udemy provides the option to download the videos. It’s located in the lower left corner of each video, by doing click on the gear:

I finished the course but I still don’t receive the Udemy certificate

In the upper right corner of each Udemy course website, there’s a green bar that shows your progress:

– If the bar is full green, and the cup at the end is green, too, then you may click the cup to download your free virtual certificate from Udemy:

– If the bar is full green but the cup is gray, and you can’t download the certificate, please write to support@udemy.com and ask them for the certificate:

– If the bar is not full green, and it says that you haven’t completed all the items (ex: “30 of 60 items complete”), please refer to the next question.

Udemy says that I have not completed all the items, but I finished the course

If you see something like this in the upper right bar, next to the title of the course:

You should go to the “Course Contents” tab, and check the circles at the right of each element. The blue circles indicate that the element has been completed, if the circle its empty, you may mark it as completed by clicking it:

I clicked “Restart Progress” and I lost my completed items.

If, by error, you clicked “Restart Progress” you may recover your progress by following the procedure described in the previous question.
